David R. Richter, FAIA, is President of Richter Architects. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He received his Bachelors of Architecture Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas in 1974. He began his practice with this firm in 1975 and was named Design Principal in 1979. Mr. Richter was chosen for advancement to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 1995 as national recognition of his inclusive design philosophy and his influence on South Texas architecture. In 1998, David R. Richter served as President of the Texas Society of Architects. Mr. Richter is a LEED Accredited Professional. |

Elizabeth Chu Richter, FAIA, is CEO of Richter Architects. She was born in Nanjing, China and attended grade and preparatory schools in Hong Kong and Dallas, Texas. She received her Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974. In 1989, she joined Richter Associates. In 2001, the American Institute of Architects conferred Ms. Richter with a national Young Architects Award as recognition of her community-sensitive designs and her leadership role in heightening the public's awareness of regional and urban issues through multimedia venues. In 2005, she was elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in national recognition of her contributions of national significance in making the profession of ever increasing service to the society. Ms. Richter is a LEED Accredited Professional. |

Sam Morris, AIA, NCARB, is a Principal of Richter Architects. He received his Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Houston in 1980 and is a registered Architect. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is also certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Since joining the firm in 1980, he has served as a Principal, Project Architect, Production Manager and Construction Administrator on a diverse array of the firm’s projects. A hands-on architect, Mr. Morris has extensive knowledge of construction systems and construction coordination. Mr. Morris served two terms as Secretary of the Corpus Christi Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. |
