Located in the heart of Manila, Philippines at the historic Manila American Cemetery, this visitor center provides historic orientation to visitors from all over the world and amplifies the powerful message implicit in the largest American military cemetery on foreign soil. Modestly located in a stand of dense tropical landscaping, it defers to the existing historic memorial while orienting attention to expansive arrays of headstones that are at the center of the architectural message.
